Course Synopsis
This course aims to provide an introductry to the second pillar of Islam which is regarded as the most important act of worship for every Muslim. It prospects into the significance, rituals, and spiritual dimensions of Salah, the fundamental practice of prayer in Islam. Participants will comprehend the meaning of Salah, the obligatory prayers performed five times a day. They will also learn about the movements, appropriate timings, and the importance of attentiveness and consciousness in worshiping Allah.
Course Objectives
In this course, the participants will be invited to achieve following objectives:
- 1.To deepen participants' understanding of the importance of Salah as the Second Pillar of Islam.
- 2.To familiarize participants with the rituals, movements, and recitations involved in performing Salah.
- 3.To explore the spiritual significance of Salah and its role in nurturing faith and fostering a connection with Allah (SWT).
- 4.To provide practical guidance for enhancing participants' Salah practice and adherence to its etiquettes.
- 5.To promote a sense of community and unity among participants through the shared experience of studying and practicing Salah.
Course Learning Outcome
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- 1.Demonstrate a deeper understanding of the theological significance of Salah in Islam.
- 2.Perform the physical movements and recitations of Salah with proficiency and correctness.
- 3.Explain the spiritual benefits and inner dimensions of Salah, enhancing their personal connection with Allah (SWT).

Student Learning Time
Participants are expected to dedicate approximately 26 hours to complete the course, including reading materials, watching videos, participating in discussions and completing assessments.
Assessment
Assessment in this course will be conducted through a combination of quizzes, assignments, and reflective exercises. Participants will be evaluated based on their understanding of course materials, ability to apply concepts in practical scenarios, and engagement with course discussions and reflections.
